Just thought you might want to hear what's happening.. Unfortunately he is getting old and has definitely slowed down.. but he still loves his walks although they have been shortened. Doesn't jump around much but still wags the tail like mad when he sees us.. his hearing is basically gone.. He has given us pure joy for 15 years. We love him so much. Ron and Ross
IN MEMORY OF PLAYTER
After 15 years 6 months and 2 days our beloved Playter is gone. We never imagined that a wheaten terrier named Playter would give us so much happiness and love in return for food and shelter! We are heart broken. So, for the very last time let me say what I said to him every single time I left him.........Playter you be a good boy, I'll see you soon. Ron & Ross

Rupert from 2015 - doing what he does best- looking handsome, napping at the cottage, chewing sticks and enjoying a DQ ice cream! He will be 11 in April and is living like a King ! We love and adore him and he returns that crazy love every time we walk in the door (even after being gone 5 minutes) That Wheaten Welcome never wears out :) thanks for our little man xo Happy New Year! Nancy

Happy New Year from the Sunshine Coast, BC. Reilly will be 12 this January. He is great although limping a bit from some arthritis. On a low pain med that has helped alot. He is still loving his walks just tired after, not unlike all of us aging folks. He is more snuggly than ever. He has a great life. Goes out with a dog walker while we are working and has a blast with other dogs and he loves the young ones although he tries to hump any new dog regardless of the size. Janet

I love taking him into town for walks as he gets so many compliments on how beautiful he is and everyone loves touching his hair and can't believe how soft it is. Jessica
IN MEMORY OF WENDEL
It's been a long time since I've contacted you and I'm sorry now it's on such sad terms...just passing along that we had to put Wendel down this week. He was such a wonderful dog and throughout the years I often thought how happy we were with him and our choice to get him from your family. You breed beautiful wheatens and expect us to be on your 'list' again someday. This is the last picture I have of my boy- taken a couple of weeks ago. We got SO many comments on him over the years how gorgeous he was....and he really was. He was a big brother to my 4 kids and he was soo good with them! Jessica

IN MEMORY OF MAGGIE
Maggie (Mariner's Irish Pearl) was our very first wheaten and convinced us that wheatens were the best! Maggie was a great mom and even produced milk when one of the other girls had a litter! After her breeding career had ended, Maggie went to live with some friends and continued to be a great little dog, easily adapting to her new life. She lived to be 15 years old!
Rest in peace Maggie and thank you for all the great memories!

IN MEMORY OF JAZMIN
Jazmin (Witthaven's Jazmatazz) was Maggie's daughter. She was a wonderful dog, but not a great mom.
After her second litter, we spayed her and placed her with a family friend who had a cottage
and active lifestyle which Jazmin thrived on. She lived to be 15 1/2 years old.
Thanks to Julianne for taking such great care of her :)

IN MEMORY OF ROSCOE
She was such a fabulous dog. We are very sad but at the same time so happy
to have had 14 years with her sweet temperament. She really was the best. We miss her so much......Janet

IN MEMORY OF TEDDY BEAR
It is with great sadness that I tell you of Teddy Bear's passing just 2 days short of his 15th birthday. When we took Teddy to our home in July of 2003, there was no question he would be well loved and taken care of - we fell in love with him immediately, but who knew the love and devotion he would provide back to us as well. My heart is so sad, but I know he lived a good life and he was so so loved by everyone that knew him, and he's in a better place - probably chasing those pesky squirrels again! Thanks to your high standards of breeding and care to your dogs Natascha, that we were blessed with such a beautiful boy.
